Israeli occupation date: May 25, 1948. The village was complety destroyed with the exception of two houses. According to theArab Suqrir, District of Gaza Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:

“Two houses remain standing. One of them is in a citrus grove and has a concrete frame and cinder block walls. On the top of its flat roof there is an ‘iliyya.”

Arab Suqrir inhabitants were completely ethnically cleansed. Town’s name through history was known by the Canaanites by Shakrun.

Israeli occupation date: late October on early November 1948. The village was mostly destroyed with the exceptionDayr1 of the train station´s buildings.Days Sunayd inhabitants were completely ethnically cleansed . According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaning structures on the village land are: “A railroad bridge, unused segments of track, and three of the train station’s buildings are all that remain of Dayr Sumayd. The stone bridge is built astride a wadi and passes over four wide, round-arched culverts. The station’s building are deserted in a state of deterioration.”

Days Sumayd had one school which was founded in 1945, and when it opened its doors it had an initial enrollment of 63 students.

In 1931 there were 103 houses in Dayd Sunayd and in 1948 there were 183 houses.

It was occupied 17th-18th of July 1948 by Israel. The village has been mostly destroyed with the exception of two villageArtuf, District of Jerusalem houses and the village cemetery. Artuf inhabitants were completely ethnically cleansed. The village had one mosque called the al- Umari Mosque. The number of houses in 1931 were 58 and in 1948 were 93.

According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:

“One stone house, located outside the Jewish settlement of Nacham, has been expanded, and is now inhabited by a Jewish family. In the middle of the Jewish settlement is a small stone house that is used as a warehouse; it stands by the site of the former mosque. On the western slopes of the site is a circular structure with no roof that was formerly used as a lime kiln (kabbara). The village cemetery, to the west, has been levelled; only one or two graves remain on its eastern edge. Part of the British police headquarters is still standing.”

Occupation date: Initially on 9th of July 1948, but the village exchanged lands several times with Egyptian and SudaneseBayt’ Affa ,District of Gaza soldiers until the second half of October 1948. The village was completely obliterated. Bayt’Affa inhabitants were completely ethnically cleansed. Bayt’ Affa had a shrine for the Arab prophet (al-Nabi) Salih. The village had a khirba, which contained the remains of walls made of uncut stones, a well, and ancient columns. According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:  “There are no traces of village houses; only sycamore and carob trees and cactuses mark the site. “

It was occupied on July 1948 by Israel. The village was mostly destroyed with the exception of few houses .Bi’lin District of Gaza Bi’lin inhabitants were completely ethnically cleansed.

Bi’lin had an elementary school, which was founded in 1937. A shrine for al-Shaykh Ya’qub Bi’lin contained two wells, which supplied it with its drinking water, needs.

Now an Israeli settlements is located there “Qedma”.

According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi the village remaining structures on the village land are: “All that remains is the rubble of a few houses, with wild herbs and thorns growing on the site, along with some trees and cactus plants.”

In 1931 in the village there were 32 houses and 1948  were 52.

Israeli occupation date: April 1, 1948. The village was mostly destroyed with the exception Bayt Naqquba District of Jerusalemof a few houses. Bayt Naqquba inhabitants were completely ethnically cleansed. A spring on the eastern edge of the village provided it with potable water. The village contained several khirbats including khirbat al-khanazir and khirbat al-Ra’s. Now there is an Israeli settlement in this land :Beyt Neqofa”.  In 1931 there were 41 houses and in 1948 the number of houses were 64.

Occupation Date: 22-23 October 1948. The village has been completely obliterated  and defaced. Kudna inhabitants were completely ethnically cleansed. Kudna was Kudna District of Hebronknow to the Crusades by Kidna. Kudna contained remnants of a Crusades fort the foundations of buildings, previously inhabited caves, cisterns, and about a dozen khirbas lay in the village vicinity. According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:
“The houses have been reduced to levelled debris hidden beneath an overgrowth of wild vegetation. One can see the stones that served as fences for home gardens.”
In 1931 there were 31 houses in the village, in 1948  110. Now, in that place we can find the Israeli settlement : Beyt Nir.

Occupation Date: 13 of May 1948. The village was completely destroyed with the exception of two houses remainBarqa standing. Barqa inhabitants were completely ethnically cleansed. The population in 1931 was: 594 Arabs and 6 Jews, in 1945 there were 890 inhabitants. The Greeks referred to Barqa by Barka, and the Romans called it Bareca. It had no schools, however, its students attended school in the nearby village of the al-Batani al-Gharbi.

Barqa had three shrines: the 1st for al-Shaykh Muhammad, the 2nd for al-Shaykh Zarruq, and the 3rd for al-Nabi Barq. Barqa contained Greek relics, an old well, stone carvings, and fragments of pottery. No settlements on village lands. According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:

“Two houses remain standing on the site. One serves as a warehouse; it is made of concrete and has a covered portico on two sides. The other, a stone house with rectangular doors and windows and a flat roof, stands deserted in the midst of wild vegetation.”

Israeli occupation date: 29th-30th of May 1948. Nuris inhabitants were completely ethnically cleansed. The village has beenNuris Distric of Jenin completely defaced. Crusader referred to the village by Nurith. It had an elementary school for boys founded by Ottomans in 1888. There was a mosque. There were several springs north of the village, the most important was ‘Ayn Jalut one of the largest springs in Palestine. According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:
The site, overgrown with pine and oak trees, is strewn with piles of stones. Part of the surrounding land is fenced in and is used as a grazing area, while another part is cultivated. Cactuses and olive and fig trees grow near the site.”
Next to the village, the Mamluks triumphed over the Mongols in the decisive battle of ‘Ayn Jalut.

In 1931 there were 106 houses and 1948 there were 163.

Israeli occupation date: 12th-13th of July 1948. The village has been mostly destroyed and only five houses remainAbu al-Fadl standing. According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:
“Of the original village houses, no more than five still stand, deserted and nearly collapsing. One of these houses, located at the edge of a citrus grove, is made of cement blocks, with rectangular doors and windows and a tiled, sloping roof”.   The village was also known by al-Sawtariyya. Most villagers trace their roots back to nomads, from nearby Khan Yunis [Gaza]. Known by the Arab Abu al-Fadl or al-Satariyya.Nowadays, Tishon le-Tziyyon is an Israeli settlement located in what was Abu al-Fadl.
