Occupation Date: 22-23 October 1948. The village has been completely obliterated  and defaced. Kudna inhabitants were completely ethnically cleansed. Kudna was Kudna District of Hebronknow to the Crusades by Kidna. Kudna contained remnants of a Crusades fort the foundations of buildings, previously inhabited caves, cisterns, and about a dozen khirbas lay in the village vicinity. According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:
“The houses have been reduced to levelled debris hidden beneath an overgrowth of wild vegetation. One can see the stones that served as fences for home gardens.”
In 1931 there were 31 houses in the village, in 1948  110. Now, in that place we can find the Israeli settlement : Beyt Nir.
